Homemade Brisket Injection

A great recipe to make sure your brisket is juicy and full of flavor!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 beef bullion cubes
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp beef base concentrate (Minor's Au Jus or Better Than Bullion)
  • 1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke Optional for electric grills and pellet cookers

Instructions
 

  • Combine ingredients and stir well to dissolve.
  • Inject the brisket, with the grain, using as much liquid as the brisket will hold.
  • Inject using a one inch grid pattern and focus on the flat.
  • Let the injected brisket rest for 30 minutes to let the liquids distribute evenly.
  • Pat the brisket dry with paper towels, apply your dry rub and smoke.
