The Flavorizer bars on your Weber gas grill takes a lot of abuse and as a result are the most commonly replaced part on the grill. The bars come in about a dozen different sizes as the size of the firebox on these grills changes every few years.
This buying guide was designed to make it easy for you to find the right size replacement bars to fit your gas grill!
Stainless Steel vs Porcelain
Once you find the right sized Flavorizer bars for your grill your biggest decision will be do you want ones that are made from stainless steel or porcelain enameled steel.
Other than how long the two products will last there is no difference in how they perform. Both versions are excellent at distributing heat, protecting the burner ports from clogging and minimizing flareups.
The stainless steel bars will last a few years longer than the porcelain enameled parts. The stainless steel bars made by Weber come with a five year warranty while the ones made of porcelain enameled steel have a three year warranty.
There are many other companies that make stainless steel Flavorizer bars for Weber grills and they are almost always much cheaper than the Weber products.
I particularly recommend the stainless steel bars made by River’s Edge if they are available for your grill.
