How to Cook Costco Lobster Tails

Costco sells lobster tails and I have wanted to try some for months.  I finally bought and cooked some this week and loved them!

Grill Those Lobster Tails!

I grilled these lobster tails on my Weber Q1200 gas grill and it could not have been easier.

How to Grill the Lobster Tails

I cranked the Q1200 up to high and let it preheat for 15 minutes while I prepped the tails and melted some butter.

How to Prepare Them for Grilling

This step is very easy. All I did was cut open the top of the shell with scissors so I could baste the meat with butter while they grilled.

Start Grilling!

Place the lobster tails on the hot grill, close the lid and let them cook for about 5 minutes. Then, flip them and let them cook for about three more minutes.

Let's Baste

Flip the tails shell side up and start basting with the melted butter. I basted the tails about once a minute until the internal temperature hit 140F.

How to Eat Lobster Tails

This is the best part... Remove the meat from the shells, dip it in melted butter and devour!

Try This Too!

Now, wasn't that easy? I love meats that grill up quickly. In fact, I have a big list of 19 meats that grill in under 4 hours!
